I'm looking for the value of an 1894 ser #62624 in 32-40 90% It has unfortunatly an after market peep sight. It was my grand fathers. It has an oct barrel and full length feed tube, a cresent stock w/metal butt plate Blueing is in very nice shape. I believe it was made in 1895 Bore is very good

hi marinahunter,
my resourses shows made in 1896. due to the age and condition adding the peep shouldn't destract from the value. i'ld have a hands-on appraisel done for insurance purposes. value could be considerable, it's very hard to give an accurate est. on such an old and fine rifle. JMHO
