I have inherited my Grandfather's Model 1892 32wcf ser. # 304808 Winchester Lever action Carbine. I believe it has a 24" barrel if I measured right. The magazine was damaged at the end so a gunsmith cut it back 2". It shoots well and is in fair to good condition.
Any information you could share with me would be helpful to fill out my grand father's story. (Where the lever goes into the receiver on the right side is stamped 98 or 86 and 20 on the left) Thanks Bill

hi barnewsww,
your 92 was manufactured in 1905, site unseen it'ld be very hard to place a value on your rifle, prices range from 1200 - 1500+ for rifle in the age range you've discribed. JMHO
