Was just wondering who all had a mini 14 and what your impressions have been. I waited to get mine until they brought out the 580 series and I've enjoyed it greatly for everything from armidillos, coyotes and our small florida deer. Mine will shoot about 3.5 moa w/open sights. All i've done is take 1 1/4 inch of the barrel,(to decrease harmonic input), moved the front sight back to the gas block and increased the diamator of the rear peep and honed the trigger to get a 4 lbs pull that's not the cleanest break but exceptable. Also installed a houge stock.
