hello ,,can you post the manufacture and the info from the top of the receiver ,,it;s proably a remington 03a3,,the a3 had a peep rear site mounted to the top of the bridge near the rear of the receiver,,i can't give you an exact year it was produced but the barrel should have a date with a flaming bomb near the muzzel on the top and that year should be close to the year +month it was made,,the initials your talking about i beleive if memory serves me corret stand for Frank J Atwater the inspector who inspected it at the RA Ratan arsenal an excellent site for info and these inspection proof marks is
