Worth more than you think...

I sold mine for $610 45 days ago. The Marlin Camp 45's are fairly rare, actually. Because the receiver housing is made of plastic, many a Marlin Camp 45 (or 9) have been ruined by the use of a solvent or other harsh chemical cleaner. The 45 was not a common as the 9, so they have a premium not seen with the 9.

Actually they are not in short supply Marlin only made the gun for a few years in 9mm luger, and 45 ACP. Then they discontinued the models Camp 9, and camp 45. I have the 9 but I want a 45. I saw one a few weeks ago for $350. I can't find the guy now.

You say they are not in short supply, and then you say that Marlin made them for a short period of time. How does that jive? If you saw one for $350, I'd like to see it. You will not find a Marlin Camp 45 for less than $500 anywhere. If you can, please post the link here.

Marlin .45 Camp rifles as of 10/28/2009 start at $700 and go up according to what condition it is in and what is included with it. Take my word for it, I've been wanting to buy for the last year. Even the worn out junk is going for about $400 now.

Gun "collectors" will tell you it is worth $300.00 so they can turn around and sell it for $500.00.

I am just trying to be fair with you...hold out for at least $450 or 500

Actually kicking myself. Last gun show had one in .45 and one in 9MM, $600.00 each, brand new in the box.

Bought the nine and left the .45 orphaned. Hoping the guy is set up at next show and will get it his time.
