Hi Peck, your first post was about a Marlin 336 in a 30-30 caliber. Now you have listed a Marlin 22 with a octagon barrel. These are 2 different type of firearms. I really would like to help , but you need to take a few minutes and let me know what firearm you need a price for. Let's take it one at a time, meanwhile I will look in my Marlin book on the .22lr......................Joe

Peck 3, In my book by Brophy, All serial # between 1906 & 1962 were not recorded on most models.

I believe you have a model 39, lever action with a 24" octagon barrel, with a take down receiver.
This model was introduced in 1922. Value= $300.00 to $475.00,
but some of these models can go as high as $1500.00. You made need an expert to appraise this one .......................Joe

Hi again Peck 3, I would try www.gunbroker.com, Cabelas, Gander Mountain, Pro bass Shop , just to name a few. They will all ask for pictures, and the serial #, because they go by what was recently sold at other auctions, for a evaluation.

Again I must apologize for the confusion on my part.........Joe
