I purchased from Sears back in 1971 a Marlin 12 gauge, bolt action, 36" barrel w/leather arm sling and clip goose gun. What do you think it's worth in todays market?
Thanks!

marlin goose guns were popular some years back and alot of them still knock down turkeys and ducks today,,although not a high dollar gun.. i still see them at gunshows in the 150-250 range.

I have one I'm listing in the next couple of days on craig's list if anyone is interested. I got it from my grandfather. He didn't use it, just had it for protection. It's in new condition because I've never used it either, just kept it because it was his. I'm asking $175.00. <email> I'm located in Temecula.

I have a 12 gauge goose gun and the flat spring in the clip is broken I have replaced mine 3 times a bad fault with the gun if you can find a gun smith to make a set of (3) springs in in ssocks or one oval round wire spring that would fix it.

Apparently , DW, here's another case if reading what you want and guessing the rules do not apply to you. Just what portion of BUYING AND SELLING IS PROHIBITED ON THIS SITE is eluding you?

I have a model 55 12ga.
36" barrel that was my grandads.
My brother recently told me he purchased one from a pawn shop for his boy and only paid $85.
I couldn't believe it at first because I've hunted with a lot of people and nobody's ever seen another Original Goose Gun like the one I have. Well, it surely is the same exact gun as mine. I figured my gun to be worth $500 or better but evidently, they're not that rare. Being that my granddad owned the gun when he was alive, and the family history affiliated with it, to me the gun is priceless.

The Z shape spring in the clip is too loose or bent in some places.take spring out and gently straighten with fingers.
