I have an M1911A1. The serial number indicates it was manufactured by Ithaca, probably in late 1944, and delivered to Rock Island 3/31/45. All markings: govt, proof, etc. But, it has a Remington Rand slide. It is used; finish is inconsistent. Any thoughts on value?
