hello ,,the pic you show is a long barrel model sometimes refered to as an artilary luger,,these are a very collectable variation,,but having 2 barrels makes me think it may have been reconditioned at some time ,,the other barrel may be the original barrel that was shot out and the original owner may have had a new barrel replaced on it at some time,,whats the condition of the other barrel ,,does it look more worn than the barrel thats on it? is the other barrel lenght the same as the one thats on it with the adjustable rear sites?
,,,next thing MOST lugers will have a date or a maker or some kind of markings on the top of the receivers,,this will be on the top of the pistol near where the barrel meets the frame or behind the toggel,,,,it should also have either a fancy lettered or a set of numbers with a code/# ,,without knowing whats on the top of the action i just can't venture to guess exactly what you have ,,ww1+ post ww2 models should have markings with scroll style letters like DWM ,,ww2 models will have a marking like S/42 or something like and some may have a date also in the 40's most ww1 models will have a date like 1915 or something in the teens,,there were so many variations that a good estimate is just too hard to give without details on the pistol,,,
,,finnaly without knowing any more than we do i'd say adam is right on the money with the 500 price without knowing when and by who it was made or even which war it might have been in..but that price could tripple easily with proper identification,,take it to a gunshow and find a german collector and have them look at it and see what they say,,you may have a gold mine or a lame duck on your hands ..
