Looking to see what kind of gun i have and the value if at all possible. it used to belong to my grandpa and i think it is a bolt action .22 with the safety right behind the bolt where your thumb is. other than that i have no clue. i may need to get rid of to pay for my school and i think my grandpa would prefer that. unless it would be worth holding on to and passing it on to my kids later as a heirloom. any way the link to the pics is http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm? fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=47560756&albumID=3126965& imageID=67213992#a=3126965&i=67213986

hello,,with a rear mounted saftey it may be a remington,,if the saftey is on the bolt,,isn't there any name on the barrel ?most 22 rifles will have the makers name and a model number located usually on the left side of the barrel about half way ,,some had names on the receiver but most had there makers name on the barrel ,,without a name or model number it's gonna be real hard to figure out what ya have ,,sorry
