you proably have a type 38 rifle or carbine ,,the rifle is is lesser of the 2 in value but still should bring 175-350 depending if it's all matching serial numbers ,,the serial number on the receiver side rail will proably be a 6 digit number,,the bolt and it's parts will have a 3 digit number that should have the same last 3 numbers as your rifles number,,i beleive the barrel bands and rear site will have 3 digit numbers also and they should match also,,also there should be markings on the top of the receiver and 1 of the marks should be a ball looking mark that is what is refered to as a MUM or flower..many of these were removed by grinding or peening after the war and examples with MUM intact will bring a preimium to collectors..ammo for them is kinda costly right now and could be as high as 40.00 a box,,now if it's a carbine model with a shorter barrel then prices may be as much as 250-400 if matching and correct with mum..
