lots of thing to concider when it comes to 03a3's,,after ww2 alot of these were sent to shooting clubs who could order them direct from the government DCM programs (Director of civilian marksmanship) i beleive is what DCM stood for ,,kinda like the CMP nowadays ,,alot of them were new unissued from storage depots ,,i don't beleive the were sold with bayos though,,first off you should check the rifle for correct parts ,,most parts should have a R for remington stamped on them ,,bolt ,saftey, cutoff lever,,barrel bands ,,ect ,,a original finish correct 03a3 with all correct parts will easily go for 600-800+ in g-vg condition and proably much higher if unfired and original with histoy supporting these facts,,if the crate is original and marked to the rifle and government issued that could easily add at least a couple hundred more,,the remington long bayonet with scabbard could bring another 100-200 depending on condition..so if the package is original as issued could be in the 1500-2000+ price range to a o3a3 collector,,but be aware that i remember companys selling crated 03a3s for collectors a few years back..and although they were excellent examples and were original springfeilds they were sold as collectors grade rifles in repro crates and will still bring a preiminum but they wouldn't be as valuable as a government issued crated rifle..as for being unfired thats something that would be very hard to prove on a rifle thats over 60 years old and it would have had to have been fired at some time in its lifetime..
