i have a old model 94 serial 825935 lever action starts to open then stops nothing visibly wrong any ideas

Have you gone to a good gunsmith with it? If not PM me and I may have a connection and cure. Being able to visually tell what may be wrong or right takes a very trained eye. Much better than mine for sure.

That bad is it?? Reading schematics is great if you can visualize how it all moves from the single view you have. You better be a pretty good engineer. Log in and send me a Private message.

got it a screw had backed out over the years and jammed it up
