I WAS GIVEN THIS GUN ABOUT 20 YEARS AGO, I'M TRYING TO FING A TRIGGER GUARD FOR IT. IT HAS A SYNTHETIC STOCK AND FOREARM, 16 GUAGE, IT ONLY SAYS SPRINGFIELD AND NO MODEL OR SERIAL #. ANY HELP WOULD BE SUPER!!!!!

hello,,is it a single shot or a pump gun? or double?,, springfield was a trade name of savage/stevens and gunparts corp has many parts for them ,,they should have something that will work ,,heres a link to there site ,,and to the savage stevens springfield section ,,they have alot of online veiwable parts diagrams if your not sure of the exact model your looking for http://www.e-gunparts.com/model_new.asp?CatID=386

I CAN'T FIND A MODEL #. WHERE COULD IT BE, OR ARE THERE LETTER CODES INSIDE THE ACTION?
