i live in california and i want to buy the desert eagle 50AE and i want to now whats the recoil like are they hard to find is the ammo hard to find how accurate is it

i have never owned one but can tell ya ammo is not super easy to find or inexpencive,,proably run you somewhere around 50 bucks a box right now or more,,and i haven't seen any full sized eagle for less that 1000 bucks anywhere for sale..i saw a .50 at a recent show in stainless ..the guy wanted 1400 for it..he said it shot good but i've seen videos on utube of people shooting them and i can't see them being tackdrivers with the recoil shown in the videos..lol..lol.
