I am somewhat new to revolvers. My grandfather recently passed away and i was left one his revolvers. I am just trying to determine what year the gun was manufactured as well as any other intersting facts about the gun. The markings on the barrel read 38 S. & W. Special CTG. and the serial number is C401XXX. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
