I have a 12 guage double-barrel side-by-side run with these markings on the gun.

Remington Arms Co. and a number (I assume a serial number) of 100413.

Any information on this gun would be greatly appreciate. It was my grandfathers gun and the only possession of his I received when he passed away.

Looks like a model 1889 built sometime during 1900.
