I'm trying to find the value of my Dads Winchester 70, 243 caliber and serial #725122 for him. He thinks I can do anything on the computer but I am struggling with this. Can you please help? Thanks, Dee

hello ,,i think i can help ya ..your dads rifle was made in 1964 and it becomes a transition rifle ,,the transition was from the classic md 70 design to the new in 64 design features which will include the new push feed bolts and different styling on stocks and options ,,value for a 243 post 64 rifle would be between 500 vg-around 650exc range,,the model 70 rifles are and proably will always be very collectable to hunters and collectors alike and some say the md 70 was the finest bolt action ever made!
