I'm looking to buy a Winchester 30/30 model 94, two different rifles and both are in good condition.
First ones first three digits SN #194 & 2nd is #430
Could you let me know what would a fair price be for each?

Jim,

You need to read the following post and give me some more information on each rifle. The price range can be quite large. You really have not given me enough information to give you an answer.

I will assume they have six digit serial numbers and not seven.

Thanks

2bit,
They do have seven digit numbers, do you need all?
Also I'm not able to send pictures but they look like good condition. They were used up until a couple of years ago.

Jim,

No, I do not need all six numbers. It just makes a HUGE difference as to when they were made.

SN 194XXX dates to 1900
SN 430XXX dates to 1907

These dates are probably off by a few years, too old, but that is the data that is used. Contacting the Cody Firearms Museum would allow an exact date, in and out of the warehouse, to be determined.

And I must repeat:

My guess is that unless they were VERY well taken care of The condition will be OK but not high enough to warrant a high value. But I would love to be wrong. Describe the rifles in detail and compare to the ones in the post.

Love to help you out
