I'm looking to acquire another firearm and I'm not sure what to buy but it can either be a rifle or a pistol, fun to shoot and I wanted to ask the general membership for some opinions.
Here's the qualifications, $500 or less, affordable and available ammunitition, more powerful than a 22lr (I have several), I would like to buy it "Used" either on internet gun sites or in a gun store, so it must be readily available on the market.......Thanks
I can't wait to hear your ideas!

Hard to make that kind of sugjestion for someone else.

Ill tell you that my last purchase was a SKS. Well under 500.00, ammo can still be had for 6.00/20 rounds. Fun to shoot and if you want, you can hunt deer with it. It also has a bayo, which adds cool factor for my sons.

Im thinking my next fun gun might be a NEF single shot in 17hmr. I noticed a Used one at a local shop for 115.00 which leaves some money left for a scope. A fun plinker that shoots faster and farther than a .22 and many use them for small varmint shooting out to 200 yards.

Not really suggestions, just whats rolling around in my head these days.

Model? Metal Condition? Wood condition? caliber? Extra holes? Better yet, a photo!
Dont ask what its worth without giving some info!!

They both are good ideas, I looked at the NEF offerings and they have a good selection of rifles and the .17HMR would be fun....Thanks
