hello ,,your h&r shotgun was made in 1940 and value for it would be around 100-125 in good working order with solid stocks,, alot of old singles fall into this prices range and below depending on the condition,, alot of them have stock issues like cracks near the tang aeras and sometimes to replace a stock can cost as much as the shotguns worth.. if the stocks are even available ,,so this is why i mentioned solid stocks ,,
