I was do not know every much about guns but seek some answers. I was given a western fields 12 ga shotgun. on the gun it says WESTERN FIELD Montgomery Ward & CO it also has an engaving of a dog in brush. There is was to 6's that are circled one on the end of the barrel one just below the chamber. My first question is what size of bullet does it fire, how old is it, and what is the value?

it sounds like you have a 12 ga shotgun and it should take 2+3/4 " 12 guage shotgun shells available at most sporting goods stores or department stores who sell ammo,,as for the model thats hard to tell without a model number ,savage ,,stevens ,,high standard ,,and also i beleive winchester made guns for wards,,is yours a single shot,,a pump,,a semi auto,, or a double barrel?,,
