I recently bought a Mossberg New Haven AC-KRO-GRUV 740T .22 WMR. its in fair shape, a few knicks and marks on the stock and finish. The previous owner apparently didnt take much care of it as it looked like it hadnt been cleaned in quite some time or after quite a bit of use. It still shot well and straight, no mechanical issues so I took a leap and purchased it from a friend of my Brother-In-Law for $80. Did I over-pay? Did I get lucky and score a good one, cheap? Also, I was looking into barrel adapters for it, and had a hard time finding one that would fit. The barrel width is 5/8-24. Most adapters appear to be 1/2-28. Any suggestions where I could get one to fit this rifle? Thanks
