it sounds like from your description you may have a stevens favorite model rifle ,,is it a single shot ?is the barrel round or otagon? and what is the lenght?..is it a break open rifle ? simular to a single shot break action shotgun?,,
,,if it is a favorite model they made a bunch of slightly different variations but most will sell for between 150-350+ ,,just depending on mostly condition,,and which model it was ,,
