hello,,the guage we can't tell ya without looking at the shotgun ,,it should be marked on the barrel ,,a rough estimate would be to take a dime and see if it will go in the end of the barrel,,if it goes in all the way it's proably a 12 ga ,,if it goes at least half way it's proably a 12 ga,,if less than half it could be a 16 ga or a 20 ga,,but if in doubt take it to a gunsmith ,,DO NOT try any shells in a gun your not sure of the guage becaues it could damage the gun and you could get hurt,,with that said the value for a 58 is between 200-300 if in good working condition and good overall finish condition,,
