Could some one explain to me why a Sig weapons ammo is more expensive then regular ammo? At least it is in our area, south cent. Pa.
And when did they come out with "Sig"? I have a S & W 357 mag. rev. I have one that I have had for about 20 years and wanted another one but could only find a Glock semi "sig". And much to my surprise the people around here don't know much or are simply not saying anything. I guess they feel it's better to keep people dumb. I'll take any kind of info that I can get. That is if it's right.

hi poppie,
sig sauer disigned some of their own rounds for their pistols. not alot of makers manufacture there caliber rounds. check out the ammo on this site, or see if anyone in your area reloads for a reasonable price. 357 sig is a totally differant round than a 357 magnum.

Kim is right. It is a .40 cal necked down to .357. WalMart sells .357 Sig bulk 100 pretty cheap. Lot less than .380 a few months ago.-.357 Sig is THE official Highway Patrol (DPS) round here in Texas--DF
