you proably bought a model 1924 Czech mauser ,,may be marked BRNO on the top of the receiver and may just have the date ,,mauser rifles can be valuable ,,one thing to look at is if the bolt matches the receiver number ..if it does this is a plus and if any other numbers on the floorplate or barrel bands match thsi is also a plus ,,but the 24 mausers are typically found with non matching bolts and thats ok but make sure you have someone check that the headspace is ok with non matching bolts
..also look for a importers mark on the barrel near the muzzel or possibly stamped or etched on the side of the receiver ,,this should give the importere name and also what model and country of origin it is from,,usually the bayonets don't match the rifle but the bayo is only a 25.oo item..the rifle should be worth between 150 good -250+ if all matching and not import stamped with the bayo included in these prices if possibly the bayo matches the serial and it's all matching numberes on any part thats numbered it might even bring 350 to a mauser collector ,,
