I have two .30-40 Krag rifles handed down to me as heirlooms. One is a model 1894 s/n 3993 that may have had the stock shortened - not sure about the barrel. I also have a model 1898 s/n 289269 that has had a rubber shoulder pad put on plus engraving on the stock. Not sure about the barrel length. Neither weapon has had a scope, and I have used the newer one deer hunting. Any idea what these might be worth?
