hello,,i have a model 687 beretta listed as a over /under shotgun of fairly recent production but don't have a refrence for a 5687 exactly,,if it is this shotgun prices will depend on which model of the 687 it is.. whats marked on the box end or the gun ,,something like silver pigeon II or something like this ?? theres 22 different variation of the model and prices can be in a wide spectrum,, and can range from 1500-4000 depending on the exact variation you have

,,the browning citori ,,this one also has many options and grades ,,there may be a 3 digit or letter code that will help id the grade ,,values on these can run from 800-4000 depending on which variation you have

,,the last one i beleive is refrenced as a fabarms shotgun but i need to know if it's a over under ,,side by side ,,pump or semi auto or single shot and if theres any names like Gamma,,beta,,omega,,ellegi or s.d.a.s.s, stamped on it anywhere ,before i can give a value ,,since you have 2 other over/ unders i'm guessing it a o/u shotgun and if so they bring from 700-1000 depending on condition,,

,,it sounds like you have some valuable shotguns and it could be to your benifit to have them appraised at a good gunshop or gunshow for insurance purposes ,,if you tell a dealer you want to sell them he will give you low prices on them ,,if you say you need to know what there worth for insurance purposes he will proably give you higher prices and more closer to actual values on them ,,just a suggestion for you based on the value they could be worth..

Thanks Bigcurt! The approach to take asking for an appraisal for insurance purposes is probably the best route.

My friends brother-in-law died leaving us with a bit more than we understand. We assume there is some value in the pieces as he never bought but the best he could get his hands on.

Grateful for your insights.

hello again ,,yes from what you have described he knew high quality firearms and didn't fool around with cheap stuff ,,some people buy the best and with the name on the shotguns your talking about,, this is the case with his shotguns!! it's just too hard to give something like what your looking at a good honest appraisal without seeing exactly what you have and doing some research on the grade and model variations ,,,gunshows are great places to chesk values and even look here gunbrokers.com for online auction prices or gunsamerica for dealers selling items like you have to get an idea of what these are selling or dealers are asking for there items,,both sites will help with real market values and asking prices ,,if you do deceide to sell i would think gunsamerica might be a route to take or find a local dealer willing to sell the guns on a commision basis ,,i wouldn't go much over 20% commision though,,if he does the listing and paperwork and ships the shotguns,,thats a fair commision for the work involved ..if you do sell online threw a dealer make sure he know what he's doing and has done online auctions before!
just some suggestions for you and directions to pursue
