I have an old rifle. Its a bolt action gun. Not even sure who made it or what the date of it is. It has (Fabrica De Armas oviedo 1915) on the barrel. It also has the numbers 2B 4754 on the barrel. On the bottom of the gun by the shooting lever it has the numbers, ( 2L 243 7186) stamped into it. Does anyone know who made it, or what the value of it is? thanks

Made as a Spanish Military rifle in the Oviedo Arsenal in 1915 from one of the Mauser actions.
In good condition, maybe 250-300, but that's a bit of a guess..

hello,,is it an all original rifle with original stock that runs to almost the end of the barrel? alot of these were cut down and made into sporterized hunting rifles ,,it should have 2 barrel bands with the fron one having a bayonet lug,,should also have a upper handguard ,,it's proably a md 1893 or a md 1916 spanish mauser ,,proably a short rifle ,,heres a pic of what it should look like if still a military version and prices for all military would be 150-250,,if it's a cutdown model then price is around 100 to mabey 150,,most of these are chambered for the 7mm mauser cartridges ,,but some were converted to 308 in the 60's by the spanish for use with there civil guard units,,these will usually be import stamped near the end of the barrel in very small letters between the bayonet lug and the end of the barrel usually on the underside of this area,,
