After looking into some of my old records i found your .22 with the VIN number, it says right here on the back of my hand it was manufactured in 937 B.C. Plain and simple it's older than shit.

Guest,

Well I am sure that there is manure older than your rifle. The rifle was made in 1915. Certainly no youngster but 40 years younger than some of mine. Each Model 1890 was chambered for a specific .22 caliber catridge. So a rifle will be able to only shoot .22 shorts or longs and no other size. This is quite different when compared to more modern rifles. Also very important when buying ammo. Also NO .22 LR only .22 long. The rifle was typically produced in a fairly basic octagon barrel model but fancier rifles with special walnut wood, checkering and extremely detailed engraved receivers were available and command high prices now.

Have fun
