I have an H&R "sportsman model 999, Ser.# 65613, leather holster # 306B. It is a double action .22lr cal. 9 shot top break revolver. I brought it to a gun show this weekend and the assessment was that it was in very good condition. According to the ser. # it would be a 1937-1939 vintage. It comes with a nearly full, older box, of .22 lr rounds. The bluing looks to be original with some fading on the hammer which has the firing pin built in. It is my mom's/ former step fathers gun and she would like to get $325 or BRO. That is consistent with the current book value. The smith has been sold. I could post more photos if needed. Thanks.
Do you still have this H&R for sale?
The H&R sportsman 999 is still available.
I am interested in the H&R, if not reblued and it is original.
Have you fired it and, if so, how does it shoot?
How is the bore?
Who is the maker of the holster?
Does the firearm fit the holster properly?
Kindly post more pictures. Close up, please.
I have never used this site before. How does it work?
I am a federally licensed firearms dealer with a significant inventory of used guns. Would you be interested in a trade and, if not, what is the lowest price at which you would sell the H&R?
Kindly disregard my last transmission, since I am no longer interested in purchasing your handgun.
Good afternoon John. I did check, and saw your response this afternoon, 5/11/11. I was just curious, what changed your mind about the Sportsman?. Thanks, bye for now.
. . .
I realize the post is three years old ...and your point is what? Apparently it has not sold . . .
Unfortunately, Bill, offers to buy, sell or trade are forbidden by the rules of the Gun Values Board. A link to our rules is posted at the very bottom of every page.
My point is that unless both posters are registered members the only communication is through this board. If both are members they can PM one another .
When you post here it's under the agreement that you abide by Community a Rules. One rule specifically states the no buying/ selling is allowed.
The H&R is still available. Are you interested? I live in southern Maine.
The H&R is still available. Is there another forum we can use so as not to offend the rules of this forum. Let me know.
Shakes - you could join this site so we can PM...
I can list the H&R on a local for sale site called Uncle Henry's. Google it and let me know. The H&R is my mom's. She will be back in country late next week. I am sure she still wants to move it along.
You need to join this site so we can PM - not appropriate like this - I am going to disappear...
