i have an h&r singleshot break action shotgun and im trying to find out how old it is theres no year on it any ideas on how to find out this info

hello are ther any letter preceiding the serial number ,,if so look here under the h+r section and you may be able to date your shotgun,, https://store.bluebookinc.com/info/PDF/Firearm/ Serialize.pdf
