I have a winchester model ? octagon barrel 22 short rifle serial #704811A on breech, #371798 on trigger guard, tubular magazine. Can you tell me more about this rifle, ie date of manufacture, value range, etc. The rifle is in good operating condition and is very accurate. Thanks

OK you are going to have to send pictures for this one!!! Two different serial number is an OBVIOUS indication that it is a "Frankenrifle" I wouldn't know where to start. There were numerous .22 caliber rifles made by Winchester that had octagon barrels. I am going to assume it is a pump action but it could also be a lever action. So give me something more to go on. Please.
