I have a Winchester Model 70 30-06 Featherweight Model #G1984631 w/ a Leupold 2x7 VARI-X II scope. Any idea of when the rifle was manufactured and how much it is worth? I appreciate it! Thank you.

hello,,your winchester was made in 1990 and without the scope the value would be between 350-450 ,,the scope won't sell the rifle because people buy rifles and put scopes on them,,if you sell as a package add another 100 to the values ,,if you take it off and sell it seperatly you may get 150-200 for the scope alone,,most dealers don't pay preimums for mounted scopes because who knows if the scopes any good ,,sure leopold is a great scope and they have an excellent warrentee but thats just the way dealers do bussieness ,,you could try to recoupe your cost in the scope by jacking the price of teh rifle up and possibly you could get the higher price from someone looking for a complete package but big ticket used sporting rifles are kind of slow movers these days,,if your looking to sell that is ..
