i have a winchester model 70 .300 win mag synthic blued barrel and was wanting to know what year it was made in? s/n#G2295***

Could you check that serial number for me? I am not locating it in my data. Meanwhile I'll keep digging.

Winchester brand rifles are now made by Browning. You may have to contact them to get the information you want. Most listings I have end at 1991 with a serial number of 2037985. So your rifle is approximately 260,000 rifles later. My guess is it is not very old.
