I have a Winchester, Model 1894, Saddle Ring Carbine, 20" bbl, Nickel Steel receiver and lever. Can someone give me a ballpark on the value for insurance?

Guest,

Can you give me the serial number of the rifle? And also plese read this post of mine. It will help me give you a realistic number based on the condition of your rifle. It would be easy to be way off just based on what you have told me. I am especially interested in why you refer to it as having a nicle steel receiver and lever. Some of the 1894 SRC rifle have Nickle Steel stamped on the barrel. It sounds like all the bluing may be sanded/buffed off the receiver and lever. If so the value number is not going to be a big one. http://www.gunvaluesboard.com/why-i-need-photos- 254864.html#25490

Please get back and let me see it
