I have a Winchester M-70 Featherweight in 6.5X55 caliber. It has factory iron sights. The serial # is G1800xxx. When was it made and does the factory sights make it very rare or particularly valuable? It is in like new condition.

hello your winchester the caliber is not a common chambering so value is a little higher than a standard caliber, this caliber was first introduced in 1997 and ,values would range from 450 vg,,650 exc,, 850 nib,,these are 2009 book values

Thank you for checking. I 've had a terrible time getting reliable information on this rifle. Do you know if they were all produced with factory iron sights.
