hello,,i beleive your old double is whats refered to as a trade shotgun ,,around the turn of the century many european companys made shotguns for export to the US and then distributors here sold them thru mail order houses ,,prices are as above stated and parts may be as hard as hens teeth to find,,i beleive it may have been made in germany ,,Krup was a well known manufacture and i beleive there still in bussieness ,,as for who assembled the shotgun ..thats hard to say but without a forarm it's basically a parts gun ..you may find german proof marks on the underside of the barrels that might be crowns with U,N,R,S or may have a bird looking proof with letters ,,it may also be of belgium origin but without seeing the proofs it would be hard to tell exaxctly,,
