I have a Ruger M77 in .270

The gun was purchased in 1976 and the barrel is stamped "Made in the 200 year of American Liberty".

Would this gun be more valuable due to its year of manufacture. And what is such a gun worth?

hello,,special edition models of any rifle have a little more value to collectors who look for special editions guns.. but to the average shooter there just fancy bells and whistles they don't need ,,they don't shoot better than a standard m77 ,,just have fancy script ,,value would be pretty close to a standard model,,and would be between 400-around 600 depending on the condition ,,maybe a little more if unfired in box ,,with all the factory papperwork,,
