The value of any old gun varies greatly with the condition of the gun. Without actually viewing the guns it is impossible to put a value on them.

The Remington Model 24 was offered in 5 different grades; Standard, Special, Peerless, Expert, and Premier.

A Standard grade Remington Model 24 with a well worn finish is worth about $150-$175. The .22 short only versions were made in fewer numbers and will be worth more money.

The 1916 date is the date of the patent from John Browning, not the date the gun was manufactured. To get the year and month of manufacture look for a 2 letter date code on the left side of the barrel just above the forearm. You can look up the date codes on the Remington Society of America web pages.
