hello ,,your model 12 was made from 1909-1936 ,,your model C should be the one with a 24" octagon barrel ,,and book value would be 350 good,,425 VG and 500 EXC,,dealers would proably offer around 150-200 for it in cash or trade value depending on the condition he see's it in

Thanks Bigcurt....What type of oil Hoppes oil or gun cleaner?

hello ,,hoppes gun oil if fine and a light coating on the rifle and will keep it from developing rust if you plan on storeing it in a guncabinet ,,break free clp is also a good oil ,,22's don't require much maintanance and i usually don't clean bores evertime i have them at the ranges and have read that even gun experts don't recommend overcleaning them because they use cleanbore priming ,,if it's really dirty i like hoppes no9 solvent for bores unless a military rifle then i use the old military stink oil ,,it cleans out corrosive powder residue pretty good ,,
