I have a remington model 11 semi auto shotgun. The serial number is 201007 and the three leter code on the barrel is REP. Can you tell me when it was manufactured.

hello ,,remington used barrel codes from 1921 - the present ,,your shotgun may be older than so the mark your talking about is proably a remington proof stamp,,not the barrel date ,,value for a md 11 in good working condition would be between 250 - 350 and mabey a little more if extra nice ,,heres a site showing where the barrel date should be located if it falls into the dating guidelines http://www.remingtonsociety.com/rsa/questions/ barrelcodes

Hi bigcurt, I am pretty sure that this shotgun is older than 1921 so i have had trouble finding a site that can help. The reason I believe that it is older is, the safety is a slide in front of the trigger. I think they changed it to the more standard form that we see on todays guns around 1921. If you have any information please let me know. Thank you

hi
i have mod 11 #232306 dated 1903 awesome 12 ga. I could be wrong but I think they only made this one from 1900 to 1903.
