i have a model 94 winchester serial #1104940, made around 1940 and I am curious as to its value.

Your rifle was actually made in 1936. The value is going to be determined by the condition of the rifle. For me to know that some good detail photos would be a big help. Hello,

Is it a "Rifle" or a "Carbine"? What caliber is it?

It was manufactured in April of 1936.
