i have a model 94 .30 w.c.f. ,good shape[no rust,scratches,etc.]s.n.936349 and i was curious as to the value.i don't plan on selling,iplan to give to my son when he's old enough.he keeps asking as to the value,so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It all depends. If you read through some of the posts it depends on what the configuration of the rifle is and most importantly its condition. Your rifle dates back to 1923 production and is in the most popular caliber made in the Model 1894. There were 5,500,000 Model 1894's made prior to 1964 so there are a lot of them out there. Is it a rifle or saddle ring carbine configuration? Without seeing some photos it's a guess but probably $1200 to $2500 unless it is in spectacular condition.
