Guest,

The Model 1910 was first introduced in 1910 and produced until 1936. The highest serial number listed is 20787. So they are not real popular. As a result major ammunition makers do not produced this .401 caliber any longer. I did not find it listed in a couple of other specialty ammo manufacturers. It may be that you will have to find some custom brass and reload them yourself. You are realy going to have to want to shoot it.

You might follow this link to another forum. Sounds helpful. http://shootersforum.com/showthread.htm?p=208254

Then you might start hitting the gun shows and doing some digging around. If I hear anything else I'll pass it on.

Good morning Todd,

There probably won't be a large number of people bidding. So that will help. Don't be surprised if it gets a little bit expensive. I just looked at the auction and the reserve has not been met. You are going to have to bid higher because the owner is not going to let it go for the current bid.

These old guns can be fun and frustrating at the same time.

Good luck

Todd,

I just checked the clip auction and the bid is at $85. As I said these things can get a bit pricey. I have spent over $200 for a correct peep sight for some of my rifles. The reserve still is not met. My guess is that it might take $150 to $200 to win this. Hopefully not much more. The catch is you GOT to have one of these to shoot you don't really need a peep sight.
