I have a Marlin Model 24 12ga shotgun in very good condition, Is this what they use in cowboy shooting,& what is it worth

hello ,,your marlin was made between 1908-1917 and the old hammer pumps are very popular with cowboy shooters there were a couple different grades available but for a standard grade model value would range between 250 good-350 vg+,,they came with a matt rib barrel and automatic recoil lock on the slide,,

how much would you value a marlin 12 gauge model #24 in good condition to be?

ithink my gun is older it says pat 11/6/09. 5/12/09 and 6/2/1896 on the barrel
