I have a MARLIN it only has model 30 A on barrel and of course the serial no. as well . I cant find this model listed any where . Of course its a 30/30 . It has deer and forestry scenes engraved into the forearm and stock.
Im just trying to identify what i really have. It is side ejection so i know its not as old as a model 94.Its also drilled for a scope. looks original.

hello,,you have a marlin/glenfeild model 30 ,,amade from 1966 and discontinued in 79,,this is marlins budgit rifles for sportsmen looking for a no thrills levergun..the game scenes were proably added by someone at a later time to spice the rifle up ,,values would be between 175-250 depending how nice the carving is done and the overall condition,,
