hello your very limited with 25acp ammo ..i'm only aware of it being offered in a full metal jacketed bullet,,and thats proably a good thing,,the inexpencive 25 autos are decent but most i've owned have feed issues ,,mostly i found that they will function pretty good if you don't load the mags to capacity,,if it takes 6 load 5 they seem to feed better when ya don't force too many on the follower spring..jennings was an ok company when it came to inexpencive handguns but i'm not sure it would be my choice for a protection handgun that i'd want to defend myself with,,for a purse gun there ok ..but for a home defence pistol i'd rather have something with a little more punch than a 25acp,,a good supcompact 9mm,,40 cal or 45 semi is a better choice or even a 38 or 357 revolver will give you more peice of mind or even a 12 ga single or pump shotgun with a short 18" barrel would be a better choice for a home defence gun,,it's hard to argue with a 12 ga pointing at you.. ..if you feel you really need a home defence gun you don't want something that won't stop an intruder in there tracks! revolvers have long been a choice for home defence because there hard to have a feed or jam issue with.. like sometimes can happen with semi autos ,, with a 25acp unless a well placed shot will only make most intruders ugly!!

,,the jennings 25 in exc condition would value around 100-125 NIB..just a little friendly advice for your question..
