I have a Ithaca 20 gauge double barrel shotgun, hammerless, with smokeless powder steel engraved on barrel and a dog engraved on the side. I cannot find any numbers on the gun anywhere. I would like to know more about this gun. Age, value ?

where you break it in half the se# is on the inside ledge of the reciever. if number is less than 400000 it is pre 1925. the engraving of the retriver on both sides of the reciever indicate that it is a long range shotgun. meaning a magnum model. 31/2" chamber. hope this helps.
